The Tarlac Police Provincial Office reported that a person it described as a former member of the Alyansa ng mga Magbubukid sa Gitnang Luzon (AMBALA) voluntarily withdrew support from the group and surrendered an improvised homemade shotgun to authorities in Tarlac City on September 5, 2026.
Eight men were arrested after allegedly attempting to break into a pawnshop in Barangay Poblacion West, Santa Ignacia, Tarlac on September 4. Police said the suspects allegedly used a drainage canal to reach the establishment. Firearms, grenades, tools, suspected shabu, and an Elf truck were reportedly recovered during the operations.
